I wrote this letter to my daughters, detailing what I witnessed earlier this week in Louisiana. I believe everyone should read it. ICE detention centers must be shut down, not invested in.

They waited until the famine crossed the threshold where even simply eating can shut one's body down. This is a 24/7 mainstreamed genocide, the most blatant, globally encouraged ongoing war crime of this century, and one should not expect courts or history books to offer justice.
