We are now @pebble_is_ Building a new kind of social experience. Read about it here.
From our humble T2 beginnings (shoutout to that $7.16 Namecheap deal) to today's new horizon, we're thrilled to introduce... Pebble!

Quick update on T2: We've made some progress on renaming ourselves from t2.social to something new, and should be able to unveil the new name soon. (Don't worry, it will not be "X2").

Twitter alternative T2 gets its own For You feed, but won't force it as the default tcrn.ch/3P8smGV by @sarahintampa
hey. no problem 😎✨
Big thank you to @t2_social for the invite, looking forward to growing on a new platform!
Just a quick reminder that we’ll be closing our t2.social waitlist this Thursday 8/31. If you are on the waitlist before that, we will prioritize you.
If you are looking for an alternative to Twitter that doesn’t make trust and safety your problem like Mastodon or Bluesky, and isn’t owned by Meta like Threads, you should try T2 (t2.social). Waitlist is here: ylw9koz7tff.typeform.com/t2waitlist
One of most unforgottable T2 milestones so far was getting a call from the Japanese broadcaster NHK. Twitter is big in Japan, and they were interested in what we’re building with our Twitter alternative, t2.social. Here are @heysarah and I on Japanese TV.
On August 31, we will be closing our T2 (t2.social) waitlist. A few weeks later, we’ll launch a new way to sign up. If you’re on the waitlist before August 31, you’ll receive your invite, and will be able to claim your handle before we open more broadly.

Just a reminder that we’ll be closing the T2 (t2.social) waitlist on August 31. If you’re on the waitlist before then, you’ll be able to sign up and claim a handle, before we switch to our new way of signing up.
One of the best decisions we made early on with our Twitter alternative T2 (t2.social) is to launch for web. It allowed us to have a logged-out experience, and the ability to find us via Google, which accounts for a significant % of our traffic.
A question we get often on T2 is why we built DMs before we built video, algo timeline etc. It’s because we met many great people on this platform by responding to their tweet in DMs.
