Typical semiconductor founder
To make new things you need to care You need to care so much Otherwise it’s just slop
We’re gonna do it We’re gonna lay it down atom by atom But we need you @atomic_semi

We thought about planning to manufacture more semiconductor fab tools than the world combined, but it’s really a sadly low goal . Think like intermediate milestone .
Software defined fab Fab in your browser Chips in a day Chips every day
We are increasing our semiconductor tool build cadences, building dedicated machine shop , and hiring Machinists, Assembly Technicians, and production supervisors. It’s a really fun time to join, be hands on and build . There’s lots do to In person, SF atomicsemi.com/careers/
I’m very excited about our engineering plan this year . Productivity the past few months has been remarkable across a few domains.

Global semi fab productivity is around 100 trillion transistors / s 1000 AI supercomputers every second 24/7 Crazy . Each chip about 10mg of active stuff. A new problem statement . Place 10 grams of atoms exactly where you want every second and win.
Always funny to me that computers are 100% efficient turning electricity into heat. You’d think some of the energy goes into the math. Really the math is a useful byproduct Once we make silicon cheaper than wires, your toaster and dryer will do AI . Pass the butter I guess.
If you like building stuff we have so much stuff to build so you should consider reaching out.
We make it ourselves And make the machine to make it. Want to join? Hiring EE, ME, Software , process engineers. We made the machine that puts atoms there, it’s laptop sized and draws 90 watts . Now we’re automating and building 10. Zoom in ,they’re not pixels

“Lock in” is the best gen z slang in a while. It works You just have to say it. LOCK IN !!!
Don’t worry, there’s actually a lot of people seriously working on chip fabs from scratch in the US 🤔
Start with Physical silicon compiler basically then other atoms and assembly

Hardware is hard, but easier than you think to start and make meaningful contributions. 2025 Will be the best year yet to work on hardware !

We’re programming a chip fab In modern languages!!! No windows 95. And there’s a lot to do Data, controls , UI, automation, more The most fun software is with hardware Are you in the Bay Area?
