I’m going to need my comrades to stop speaking on Hamas until they’ve read the charter they adopted in 2017 & the communications they’ve put out since Oct. 7th. Believe it or not, Hamas’ official line is emphatically not antisemitic, consistently expressing opposition to ZIONISM.
Socialists must work to stop any expression of antisemitism in the movement as well as any slogans aligning ourselves with conservative, antisemitic forces like Hamas, the Houthi or the Iranian state. These self-marginalizing tactics are a dead end.
Until they stop starving, bombing, gassing, headshotting, imprisoning, branding, enslaving, torturing and raping Palestinians I am a single-issue voter and I will not vote for any political vehicle that is not unequivocal in its belief that Israel must be completely dismantled
