Today is World Sickle Cell Day and Nigeria is said to be the country with the highest number of sickle cell warriors in the world. With continuous education and potentially legal policy, we can reduce that number. But what you can do today is remember that sickle cell warriors…

Unfortunately,, there are no laws to protect people with disabilities. They will fire you for no reason, and you cannot do anything about it.

There's a shift in awareness. I think in a few years, it will change. More people need to hear about the personal experience. Education on the milestones, how to care for yourself and the mental/emotional care is VERY important. Awareness! Awareness! AWARENESS!!!!
