In Gir we have a rare bond of mutual respect & harmony between the Asiatic lions & humans. Thanks to this bond, the lion population has risen from 180 in 1974 to 891 in 2025. A shinning example of coexistence & conservation.

Next time when you see a snake don’t climb trees to escape😬 Some species of Pythons are excellent climbers. They use a strong, muscular body and lateral undulation to grip and push themselves upward along tree trunks. They are non venomous. But its constriction can be fatal.
As beautiful as it can be. Watching this mesmerising clip of tigress with five grown up cubs in loop💕 Giving birth to five cubs is not new.But all growing up to subadults is amazing. The ecosystem must be one of the finest which sustains such a beautiful family. Credits in clip.
A herd of gentle giants observing a car in the most delicate way possible at Utrakhand today… In the elephant kingdom, whenever confronted with such an eventuality, keep the headlights on & don’t switch off the engine. Stay calm. It always helped in my long career as a Forester.

Farewell to Vastala. India's oldest recorded elephant, who passed away at her beloved elephant camp at Panna recently. A gentle giant who raised generations of calves and played a vital role in tiger rescues. Her legacy of strength and compassion will live on 💔

Chotu got separated from mother at Kaziranga. It was united later with its mother. The forest officials applied mother’s dung to the calf to suppress human smell. Happy reunion at the end ☺️
