She is largely misunderstood because she is often read literally. She is poetry and one must have a deep understanding of metaphors , nuance and what is being said purely by the way it feels.

Never become too comfortable with comfort. There is little to no growth found in it.
One of the greatest skills you can develop is the ability to sit with the moment that you are in. Not to react, that is our default, but simply to understand.
Find someone who inspires the giving nature of you. Not dispensing for a quota, but simply for the pursuit of the joy that is found in it. Someone who renders your selfishness obsolete.
Life will prepare you for the road you never saw coming, but in many ways always needed. And once that turn is made, nothing is quite the same.
