I know it’s hot here in 🇯🇵 at the moment, but a farmer friend gave us some potatoes and we had a random pack of shirataki in the fridge, so it’s niku-jaga (meat and potatoes) for tea tonight!!

In Shimo-Kitazawa there’s a great little shop that sells Hot Wheels and stickers. That’s it. Most cars are only ¥180!! There are some collectibles that are much more expensive. Always take my boys there!!

Took my youngest to his Eiken test this afternoon in Kawasaki. He thinks he did well. After that, he suggested going to Shimo Kitazawa - my favourite place, too - to spend some money his grandparents gave him. Bought a Hot Wheels car and then to Good Heavens for a pint!!
