Damsons one of my scrumping trees About 35/40 years ago you were lucky to get a few semi ripe before you returned to school in September they are pretty much ready July !!! , never seen them this far advanced at this time

Apple nik named “Gravediggers 👻 ghost” an apple I found in an old cemetery one winters day and collected a few scions , strangely on checking back on the tree it’s strangely disappeared, no tree, no stump , no ground disturbance , I keep checking back
An apple I found in an old abandoned orchard , when sent for DNA testing no cultivar match could be found , I took scions and have a nice healthy tree , the original tree has since perished
