It’s Walk and Talk weeks at Hillside and it was lovely to see so many attending the Monday after schools English W&T masterclass led by Mrs Symes. W&T exams help to make the exam situation a little more familiar, helping to reduce anxiety and see an expert approach the paper.

Saturday School. 10am start & we are all now onto our first You Do! Business Studies & pizza feast for lunch. Well done to pupils for getting in & shout out to Mr Haygarth & Mr Henesy, we couldn’t offer all this support for our pupils without the dedication of our staff team.

Hands on applications of numeracy through science experiments. Applying units, making accurate measurements, collecting primary data was all happening! Engaging families with maths is crucial in building confidence for our young people in Bootle. @liamstarkey84 @Bootle_Together

We are delighted to be supporting The Inclusive Hub @liamstarkey84 with the Numeracy project. Working with members of our community on numeracy through a science tonight. Too many families have negative memories of numeracy at school, this was all changed with Mr Edwards tonight!
