We ended the year with a fantastic whole school performance of The Wizard of Oz. The children were amazing - they performed brilliantly and with such enthusiasm. Thank you to everyone who helped with costumes and scenery and to the PTFA for their support with refreshments.

We welcomed our new reception children into school today for their third and final stay and play session. We gave them a welcome gift bag from us containing a Bible, a biscuit and a photo frame to decorate and bring back in Sept with a family photo to create a display in class.
Thanks to our PTA and also the Ilsham English Hub for financially supporting our new phonics scheme for September. Thousands of books ready to go…. Now just to stamp them and organise them! #phonics #earlyreading
Last week, we held our final football tournament at St Matts. It was great to play alongside our trust school St Georges. All children were wonderfully polite, engaged, and praised each other during the games. So good to see. #TeamStMatts #TrustTournament

A huge thank you to all the parents and carers who came along to our Drop In and Discover morning today. It was wonderful to welcome you into our classrooms and see the children so engaged in sharing their history and geography learning with someone special.
