Today on The Information’s TITV: @christinacaci, CEO of @TrustVanta, for a discussion on their impressive $4 billion valuation. @AmberVenzBox, Co-Founder of the leading creator commerce company @shopLTK, on AI’s potential to reshape e-commerce. Our reporter @srimuppidi…

The Claude Code command line tool is now at over 3M weekly downloads - more than the monthly downloads of the Claude iOS app
We have entered the era of AI margin watch.
news: Investors float $100B-valuation deal for Anthropic as it says gross margins improving Anthropic hired back Boris Cherny and Cat Wu just 2 weeks after they joined rival Cursor What do we call these firms: Centicorns? Megacorns? Hectocorns?
my @theinformation colleagues @srimuppidi and @nmasc_ reported today that investors are floating a deal valuing anthropic at >100bln if it goes through, that still only brings anthropic's multiple to ~30x ARR, on par with openAI
anthropic launching claude for financial services today shows it's pushing further into the ai apps' territory supports my view earlier this month that at ~15x ARR, where it last raised, it's the closest thing ai has to a value investment
Scoop w/ @srimuppidi on early conversations for Anthropic's next financing, which investors say will value the company over $100 billion theinformation.com/articles/inves…

The Information reports that OpenAI plans to spend $1.5B on employee salaries this year, and is expected to increase its stock-based comp plan. I reported last week that OAI's lucrative comp packages for researchers, which are getting revamped, currently run 3:1 equity to cash.
