One year ago today we ratified a historic contract with the highest minimum postdoc salaries in the country, the first guaranteed housing rights for postdocs, fully paid parental leave and a brand-new hardship fund, and expanded rights and protections for international postdocs.
We’re on 🔥! At this weekend’s retreat, we strategized how to use our growing sectoral power to fight Trump’s attacks on science, and how to keep raising standards in our next contract to build a more inclusive, equitable Sinai. #UnionStrong

Columbia has dragged its feet for years on implementing anti-bullying protections that we won in our contract. As part of a meeting with the Vice Provost today, postdocs & associate researchers delivered a petition signed by the majority of our coworkers demanding no more delays!
