A new Blu-ray of Robert Kramer’s 'Route One/USA' is on the way from @IcarusFilms. Read about why Kramer's 1989 masterpiece remains one of cinema’s most ambitious attempts to understand America in all of its confusion, dysfunction, and beauty: splittoothmedia.com/route-one-usa/
We made this film (Boundaries) awhile ago now. Wanted to do something pretty minimalist, horror-infused. Simple premise: two men design and build a detention center. Little dialogue, and what was there was suggestive as to *why* someone would do this, be ok with this.
Robert Kramer's 'Route One/USA,' an absolutely essential American movie, is receiving the Blu-ray treatment from @IcarusFilms! I wrote about it a couple years ago for Split Tooth at the link below. (The more important link to buy the film is in the comments!)

Venture into the heart of American horror’s strangest amusement park in 'Malatesta’s Carnival of Blood' (1973), a film that feels defiantly handmade with sets constructed out of glittery and doomed recycled objects. splittoothmedia.com/malatestas-car…
Really one of the best shorts I have ever seen
