New handle, who this? 😝 My handle has changed to @spellboundprose So if you want to tag me or say hi, this is the new handle where you can find me.
You guys 😭 I was feeling so low last night, stuck in a pit of negativity, & here you all are to pull me out. Your support has renewed me. I suppose it’s why I posted how I felt. To remind me I’m not alone. Thank you, my friends, & if anyone else feels low, please reach out.
The support of this community… wow 🥹 I want to clarify, I’m not stepping away from writing, just taking a breather for a few days. Thank you for your support and understanding. I will come back, and soon. I love you all.

The depression and burn out have hit hard today… I’ve tried to put on a happy face, to hide my anxiety and self doubt, but they’ve grown too heavy. I may step away for a little while.
What are five things you cannot live without - writer's edition. Mine are: 1. Coffee 2. Laptop 3. Peaceful writing space 4. Comfy chair 5. My cats keeping me company
Tell me a video game you’d love to see as a tv series/movie. I have 2: Legend of Zelda: I know they are making a live action version (I don’t have high hopes for it) But animated, particularly Studio Ghibli style? Yes please Baldur’s Gate If they use the original voice actors.
The plot bunnies are running wild this weekend. Where’s my notebook?
What's the best advice you've ever received (doesn't need to be writing-related)? For me, it was "don't sweat the small stuff, and it's all small stuff." (very challenging to put into practice)
What shows or movies are you binge-watching right now? I need some suggestions!
Hey trad authors and those in the query trenches: Give me a piece of advice you wish you knew when you first started your journey? (Positive/constructive advice only, please) Thank you!
Where did you work for your first job? Mine was a small ice cream shop in town (that totally wasn't a rip off to Coldstone LOL)
Time for another update. I’m rebranding under a new author name Why? Because I’ve decided to enter the world of trad publishing I have so much love for the indie community but for reasons way too long to post, it wasn’t the path for me I’m looking forward to this new chapter
I have such respect for indie authors. Your tenacity & determination are commendable. Same goes for my trad friends. I’m going through a shift in my writing journey, so you may see less of me/changes to my account But don’t worry. I’m not leaving, just working some things out.
Who in the writing community is your greatest inspiration (or one of them)? For me, it's @CreatureAuthor The amount of sales, the epic covers, his support of the community, it's inspiring.
Tell me something that never fails to make you smile. For me, it's petting my cat as he sits in my lap.
If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be? Is it lame if I say bread? I freaking LOVE bread!
What was one of your favorite cartoons as a kid? For me, I always enjoyed watching SpongeBob (I still do with my kids)
What did you want to be when you grew up? Silly answers only. For me, upon receipt of my Barbie and dolphin playset for my eighth birthday, I wanted to become a dolphin trainer or marine biologist (pretty sure most millennial girls thought this at one point LOL).

What's normal at 3pm, but terrifying at 3am? I was told the sound of the ice cream truck, and I think I'd have to agree with that LOL.
What is the first book that made you cry? Mine was The Tea Rose by Jennifer Donnelly.
