Truth is not a democratic process or a popularity contest. Truth is still true, even when men like Noah or Martin Luther must stand alone.
A great reminder.
One of my very favorite passages of Scripture is 2 Cor. 4:17, "For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory." Your trials in this life are a drop in the bucket compared to the blessings of eternity.
Truth is not determined by majority vote. It’s revealed by God and recorded in Scripture. Pick up your Bible and read God’s truth, the only truth, so you can stand against the pressure of a world that seeks to shape you.

What you believe is not half as important as why you believe it.
2 John 1:7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus is the Christ (the Messiah) come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist. The spirit of the antichrist denies two related points. One, Jesus of Nazareth is the promised Messiah.…
Sherlock Holmes --- “It is a capital mistake to theorize before one has data. Insensibly one begins to twist facts to suit theories, instead of theories to suit facts.”
One of the most discouraging things I see over and over again in evangelical circles is the cycle of superstition. ONE. Men embrace a superstition as the truth of God. TWO. They advance numerous arguments which "prove" this superstition. THREE. Men who are knowledgeable in…
Eph 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
Jude 1:4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.
One more dive into this topic, and then I'm done. Maybe 🙄🤣 1/ Does Salvation Require Evidence? What Scripture Actually Teaches Some people claim that if you believe salvation produces any visible change, you’re promoting “lordship salvation.” But Scripture is clear.…
Please lift us up in prayer. Pray that our house here in North Dakota will sell soon. Pray that the appraisal and offer/counteroffer process will go well for the house in Oklahoma.
All of you out there who believe the kingdom is now, do you still pray “Thy Kingdom come…” or do you believe that prayer was only for the transitional period until the resurrection? Or something else?
Theology 101: The Bible doesn’t look forward to an ethereal, dreamlike existence in a bright, timeless eternity. It looks forward to an earthy, physical existence of resurrected, glorified bodies in a restored, Edenic creation. Ours is an incarnational hope.
Please don't tell me we still have bread left when there is only one heel in the bag. Heels aren't bread. 😁
There are many things you’re missing here: #1 - This is Jesus’s upper room discourse where He is SPECIFICALLY speaking concerning His disciples. John 17: Vs 1-5 - Jesus prays for Himself Vs 6-19 - Jesus prays for His disciples Vs 20-26 - Jesus prays for all believers This is…
Rev 3:10 and John 17:15 - The Force of Keep From (τηρέω ἐκ). @soothkeep demonstrates the force of tēreō ek (keep from) is the same in Jn 17:15 and Rev. 3:10, but the contexts are different. Source: youtu.be/iiT_tgV7pyw?si… For more from Lee Brainard: soothkeep.info
The prewrath and post-trib camps regularly insist that John 17:15 is proof that the pretrib rapture is false and the pretrib understanding of Rev. 3:10 is bad exegesis. This is a classic example of the theological shallowness of these camps, a shallowness which continually…
