Monday is Blog Day where my week starts with finding out what Monday smells like, and I look for the joy that makes my heart sing. Here’s STRIDING OUT... soopoftheday-soo.blogspot.com/2025/02/steppi…

Today’s kind of walk… (A cow at the gate down the country road.)

The kind of walk where you go out to think about what to say about your coaching style, and instead the feel of the sun on your arms and head says here’s your shadow let’s just walk… (shadow photo of the coach on a sunny country lane walk emptying their head of thoughts.)

The kind of walk where I misidentified a piece of orange fluff attached to my tissue as a caterpillar and encouraged this guy to cross the road safely… (Photo of frog/toad in the road)

Today’s joy is a mortar board and enthusiastic applause.

Today’s joy is a bowl of kumquats. Last time I had a kumquat I bought myself one from Borough Market. It had been a long time since I had seen them and one was a perfect treat! I loved that kumquat and I love that I can remember eating it.
