The new Tesla Model Y RWD has 357 miles of estimated range That is based on an average driving efficiency of 223 Wh/mile That is 4.5 miles/kWh What I’m seeing so far is not quite that good but very close!

The $7,500 federal EV tax credit ends in 89 days. I took advantage of it 3 times for a total of $22,500 in tax savings. No regrets.

My neighbor’s grandma has a Volvo electric car. She despises Elon Musk. On a recent road trip she refused to use Tesla Superchargers. It added 10+ hours to the trip. Not smart.

Tesla allowed me to transfer my FSD Capability multiple times, which seems to be a fairly new offering. First I transferred it from my 2018 Model 3 to a new 2025 Model 3 in January And again today from 2025 Model 3 to 2026 Model Y
