Best Jules feature… spin up tasks, close laptop… Jules keeps working.
My favorite Jules feature
Desk upgrade! It’s similar to the old one, but custom built for my needs. It’s larger, oak (not pine), and lower, so now I can have my monitor, too. Simple, but effective!

We’re spinning up a few new roles on the Jules team. If you’re into AI agents and dev tools, DM me. Looking for: – Front-end / full-stack (React ecosystem) – macOS / iOS – Product designer Must have experience building for developers.
Jules should do… What’s the wildest thing you want your coding agents to be able to do?
From silver to gold in just a year - the rate of progress in mathematical reasoning is just astounding! Congrats to the @GoogleDeepMind team 🎉
Official results are in - Gemini achieved gold-medal level in the International Mathematical Olympiad! 🏆 An advanced version was able to solve 5 out of 6 problems. Incredible progress - huge congrats to @lmthang and the team! deepmind.google/discover/blog/…

They look so cute together.
Jules now supports Bun as a JavaScript runtime. If your project uses Bun instead of Node, it’ll just work, no extra setup needed. Read more about the Jules environment! jules.google/docs/environme…
Concentrate your bets once things are working. If Apple can’t do more than two things well every year neither can you, sorry. I don’t make the rules.
I know it's not my "job" to source and interview people for the Jules team, but man, I'm really enjoying meeting all kinds of great engineers this week. Ya'll are amazing!
This is in my neighborhood, it’s so good.
A whole post about how to get into Jules because it's so hard to get into Jules: blog.resy.com/2025/07/how-to…
We're working across products to try and make this better for devs. What are your best practices or examples for AGENTS.md? Let us know!
Great news: @OpenAI just got the AGENTS.md domain! Making a microsite on how to use it provide context to coding agents like Codex, Amp & Gemini. The name is intentionally neutral and open. Help me, @sqs, @simpsoka out: Please share your best practices or examples!
Folks, we've peaked. I really hope the future is not more kanban boards. vibekanban.com
Jules can see images, it can take screenshots of what it's built and show it to you, and interpret what's on the image like annotations. Comes in handy with bug fixing! UI coming soon for this feature! (to try it out, give it an image from a public URL).
Jules loads VMs from snapshots with environment preconfigured and code synced automatically... so it's faster to build. Oh yeah, and it understood the prompt that I included in an annotated image. :P
My daughter had a 20 minute tantrum today because I wouldn’t let her go in the hot tub. It’s 97 degrees out.
Very excited about this!
Scoop: OpenAI's Windsurf deal is off. The startup's CEO, co-founder & some R&D team members are all going to Google DeepMind to support its AI efforts and work on Gemini. theverge.com/openai/705999/…
I believe that for an LLM to achieve Senior developer level performance in a specific programming domain, experts from that programming domain must be involved in the model training process. Taking frontend development as an example, I haven't heard of any model training that…
An engineering lead who I respect told me I'm irreplaceable... and I don't think I've ever gotten a better compliment from a colleague.
