I'm a fan of all things related to comic books, especially Marvel and DC | 22
idk I was kinda hoping they would have more Batman books
DC Compact Comics releasing in 2026! •Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow-Jan 6 •Batman: Gotham by Gaslight-Jan 20 •Batman: White Knight-Feb 3 •Batman: The Dark Knight Returns-April 7
- It's her son -They've defended this world and risked their life for it multiple times - They have the most incentive to find another solution cause failing means either their son dies or the world and their son dies - They literally come up with a plan the next day
and why does she and no one else get to decide what happens to 8 billion people?
I wouldn't be against retconning the Maker's backstory considering how rushed his turn was and the fact that most of Ultimate F4 was mid. A 6-12 issue mini written by Hickman or Camp that retells his origin while convincingly setting up his transformation would be perfect.
We always talk about good retcons and bad retcons on here, but what about retcons that you think need to happen? What would you do if you were in charge?
“I want Venom to be a big monster for Spidey to fight” Lizard “I want Venom to be a close friend of Peter who gets corrupted by an evil force” Goblin JR “I want a venom who doesn’t get redeemed and holds grudges forever” First of all why do you want that, second of all SCORPION
It feels so wrong that we're going from a Fantastic Four movie that heavily borrows from a Kirby-Lee era story to an Avengers movie adapting a Hickman era story that's built on the foundation of Reed & Doom's rivalry which has yet to be established in the MCU

Kinda sad to hear this although I really enjoyed the run it was definitely lacking in a couple areas which it could've fixed in the future but knowing we're not even 10 issues away from the ending makes me think it's unlikely they will.
Jonathan Hickman and Marco Checchetto's run on 'ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN' will be concluding this December after two years.
ITS FUCKING SATURDAY WHY THE FUCK ARE YALL POSTING USM #19 SPOILERS WITH NO SPOILER TAGS
After seeing the way Sue's character was handled in this film I honestly think they could do the Malice storyline way better than the original Byrne arc did
Vanessa Kirby says she wants to see Sue Storm become Malice in the #MCU's future: "It's almost like a part of her that needs to come out, to be expressed..." Full quote: thedirect.com/article/vaness…
Pretty fun run overall T'Challa and Storm were fun replacements for Reed and Sue. Shame he didn't get a chance to write a longer run cause he writes these characters pretty well
All the hype around the Fantastic Four movie has put me in the mood to read some F4 so I'm gonna read the Dwayne McDuffie run
I really enjoyed this it's without a doubt the best F4 adaptation and you can tell Shakman knows these characters. My one major issue is the runtime which could have benefited from extra scenes especially Ben who could've benefitted from more scenes.
#nw Fantastic Four: First Steps
Elderly Woman: “Somebody help me! That Silver Surfer stole my purse!” Human Torch: “Don’t worry… imma get it Granny.”
Probably the greatest ragebaiting to happen on television. Y'all need to watch Dexter
Pacing was a bit off definitely needed an extra 30 minutes. Johnny had a nice arc and Reed and Ben were great but Sue was done terribly. Silver Surfer looked great but making Galactus a cloud was stupid. Hopefully First Steps leaves me less disappointed when I see it.
It's so funny seeing people get mad at this when just a couple weeks ago David Corenswet and Rachel Brosnahan were doing the same thing on the Superman press tour and everyone was eating it up
Pedro Pascal and married co-star Vanessa Kirby on their Fantastic Four press tour 👀
All the hype around the Fantastic Four movie has put me in the mood to read some F4 so I'm gonna read the Dwayne McDuffie run

I really dislike how the show handled it but they could've redeemed themselves if Henry was there to witness his son go through the same thing he went through when he was accused of killing Nora only this time the roles are reversed and now he has to help free his son.
The Trial of the Flash is really close to being a great Barry Allen story but what drags it down is it's length and a lot of the sillier parts towards the end. Despite that I loved seeing how both the world and the league would react to a hero like Barry killing someone
It's crazy to me that there are people against this. Even if you haven't read the comics we literally have a 10 season show that was primarily set on Smallville and praised for their handling of Lex and Clark's friendship
It’s so funny how some people want Superman to have absolutely no past or lore before he debuts in Metropolis. Wtf was he doing all those years
