Today and every day, believe survivors. The system is beyond flawed when several men tell several different stories and communicate they need to “get their stories straight” before an investigation and cannot be questioned on their own actions or reliability.

a woman has to give perfect, consistent details of the most traumatic moment of her life with no room for error and even then it usually still isn’t enough. while men can lie through their teeth and change their story multiple times over and still be believed over the victim.

Hockey Canada settled with EM in 2022 for a reason. Something happened that led for them to settle with her. this verdict doesn’t mean they’re innocent. I hope no team goes out and offers them PTOs/contracts as camps begin, but I fear some teams will give them “second chances “

Sick to my stomach reading about how the judge says EM's testimony is unreliable especially when Brett Howden literally said he left the room because of how uncomfortable he was hearing EM cry from being slapped so loudly and then him conveniently not remembering saying that.
