Time and time again, the Prime Minister says the situation in Gaza is intolerable… but he keeps on tolerating it. Palestinian statehood was literally in his own manifesto, so why won’t he recognise it now? I wonder if Donald Trump is stopping him.

NHK shared this video explaining how exit polling allows them to collect enough data to call some races before all the votes are counted on election night. In some cases, the gap is big enough that they can call certain races when polls close at 8PM.
A beautiful day for an election in Tokyo. Turnout is expected to be up from three years ago - probably bad news for the LDP.
