Adding personally owned vehicles to a robotaxi network is and always has been a liability nightmare for both $TSLA and the vehicle owner—and a huge stock-pumping lie.
CFO Taneja says $TSLA wants to properly vet customer cars for use in its robotaxi fleet, e.g. ensure tire profile wear isn't so bad that it poses a safety risk. Musk claims its like AirBnB rules... assuming they solve FSD Unsupervised, how long will these be valid?
$TSLA would have to start hiring convicts and homeless people to provide sufficient cheap human supervisors for their "robotaxis."
Tesla's "best product ever" wasn't mentioned on the earnings call either.
Cybertruck was not mentioned in the Q2 earnings report, outside of the boilerplate Installed Factory Capacity figures. Tesla is currently able to produce Cybertruck at a rate of over 125,000 units annually in Austin.

Remember when Musk blatantly lied (per usual) on the 3Q24 earnings call and said $TSLA would grow vehicle unit sales 20-30% in 2025? The stock surged immediately. Of course through 1H25 vehicle sales didn't grow at all—they tanked.
It's funny how-- on the back of that TERRIBLE $TSLA earnings report-- everyone is so afraid to add to their shorts on this bubble-fraud because of what lies & bullshit Musk might say on the call, lol.
