Senator for NJ LD1 (Atlantic, Cape May, & Cumberland Counties) ☕ Coffee Lover | 👨👧 Proud Dad | 💑 Loving Husband | 👨⚖️ Tenacious Attorney
Gov. Murphy is trying to push tax hikes through NJ's budget using statutory law, but he can’t do that without separate legislation passed by the Legislature. My colleagues & I are seeking legal opinions because if the Governor moves forward anyway, it’s simply unconstitutional.
.@SenatorTesta's bipartisan bill—the Next NJ Manufacturing Program—marks the largest manufacturing investment in state history. ⚙️ The $500 million tax credit initiative will boost innovation, create good-paying jobs, and bring high-quality careers back to the Garden State.
Invoking the great Ronald Reagan, I ask: Is our state truly stronger and fairer than it was 8 years ago? I stood up for our hardworking families as one-party rule passed the largest budget in NJ history, packed with new taxes, millions in last-minute spending & zero GOP input👇
💰 We stood up for NJ taxpayers and pushed back against Trenton Democrats’ reckless, record-breaking budget. ❌ $1B in new tax hikes ❌ Written behind closed doors ❌ Jammed through at night Under one party rule, state spending is up 70% in 8 years—and you’re footing the bill 💸
💰 Trenton Democrats gave us the budget minutes before a 9 PM committee vote on Friday night — no time to read it, no transparency. Then, we found out they stuffed in $700 million of last-minute, unexplained pork spending. This is not how government should work. @SenatorTesta
💰 A 600+ page budget with tax hikes was released just moments before a vote on Friday night— more of the same from Democrats. Under one-party rule, we've seen backroom negotiations and spending that has ballooned by $24 billion under the Murphy Admin. Enough is enough. 💸
💰 376 pages. Minutes to read it. Trenton Democrats rammed through a record $58.1B budget loaded with tax hikes & $700M in last-minute spending. 💸 Senate Republican Budget Members voted NO and stood up for hardworking New Jerseyans who deserve much better. @SenatorTesta
📣 With the budget deadline looming, Senate Republican Budget Members are once again urging Trenton Democrats to adopt our commonsense proposals—real tax relief, responsible reforms, and funding for schools and essential services. 💰 🔗 Read more: senatenj.com/DocumentCenter…
💰 Formal budget talks start today—but we still haven’t seen the budget we’re expected to vote on! We’re pushing back against Trenton Democrats’ proposed $1 billion tax hike—fighting for NJ taxpayers who are overtaxed and tired of wasteful spending. We need affordability now.
🚨 New tax hikes are coming from Trenton Democrats... 💸 But it didn't have to be this way. For years, we've proposed solutions to make New Jersey more affordable. It’s time Republicans have a seat at the table.
💰 We're once again calling on Trenton Democrats to act on our budget proposals to deliver tax relief and funding for critical services. “We stand ready and willing to work with you to fix the Gov’s deeply flawed budget and give New Jerseyans the affordability they deserve."
It is always great to see a small business owner invest in Vineland. Igor Pristup is an entrepreneur in his own right and is opening his second business venture, Tire Busters. Congratulations. We wish you continued success with Auto Finders Unlimited & Tire Busters in Vineland.

Thank you Judge Jeffery Wilson for being invited back to speak to the 2025 Recovery Court graduates this morning. These brave and resilient folks deserve our congratulations for making the decision to change their lives and making the commitment to stay on the recovery path.

Simple truth, straight from NJ’s own utility companies ⚠️ As Democrats try to turn NJ into the California of the East Coast, Senate Republicans are demanding answers and fighting back with a commonsense and balanced energy approach. @SenatorTesta
It is always a great night to attend the NJ Boys state conference and interact with the young men and to join my fellow legislative colleagues on a panel discussion. Boys State educates our youth in the duties, privileges, rights and responsibilities of American citizenship.

This morning NJ DMAVA included me in the NJ State Medal Ceremony for Women Veterans, which was held in conjunction with Women Veterans Appreciation Day. Women Veterans continue to break barriers while serving in the military & today’s ceremony identified a dozen amazing women.
