also: ivan’s love, which he’s distorted to be “twisted”, finally understood by till and expressed in return… is that not queer and reciprocation on till’s end? ivan and till were never about a lack of love, it was about a lack of understanding, which till is finally achieving.
obvs it sucks but i think there's an inherent limit to how much till can realistically unpack his feelings toward ivan, as well as ivan's feelings toward him. because at the end of the day, the version of ivan he sees isn't really him, because ivan is still dead 😭
