Hipkins was repeatedly given an opportunity to denounce the deliberate starvation of Palestinians when he was PM and he refused. Today Labour is still making weak statements, refusing to call it genocide, & putting almost no energy at all into pushing the coalition on this issue

Ozzy Osbourne recently signed a letter to stop the BBC from airing a documentary chronicling Israel’s genocide in Gaza. It’s a stain on his legacy and a far cry from his Black Sabbath days when he released the song “War Pigs”, which condemned leaders who initiate wars for profit.
Black Sabbath on my grandad’s farm at 1973’s Great Ngāruawāhia Music Festival, New Zealand. I remember my dad telling a crack up story about how they burned a massive cross at midnight which shocked the locals but when you saw it up close it was homemade & dungy. 📸 David Stone
