When the Mig-21 Bison is retired in Sept 2025, 🇮🇳 Air Force will be down to 29 fighter squadrons (as opposed to required 42) For context, 29sqns is dangerously close to failed state Pak's 25sqns China has 66sqns and is rapidly expanding with 5th & 6th gen etc.

Pretty much everything that went wrong with Navic/IRNSS satellites happened between 2013-2025... Satellite after satellite kept failing, and rectification/replacements didn't happen on time. Now we've reached a point where desi-GPS is virtually crippled..

India's desi-GPS satellites known as #ISRO NAVIC are near-defunct.. Of 11 satellites launched, only 4 are providing core PNT services. Of these 4, 1 has completed end of planned life, 1 has partial equipment failure. Govt admitted this in Parliament, & RTI by @SolidBoosters

Observation: Usually, ISRO announces launch date around 3-7days before liftoff. For NISAR, it has come 9days ahead of launch. Later tonight, NASA will conduct a virtual press meet regarding NISAR and share more info. ISRO unlikely to do any media briefings.
