Eleven individuals in our care in HMP Dumfries have completed a half marathon within the prison grounds. Following the huge success of their weekly parkrun, the group wanted to push this even further and trained over several months with support from the PE dept! Well done to all!

The 8 young men who completed their Activate community learning and development course in HMP&YOI Polmont asked what’s next, now that they had received their certificates and completed their learning. They wanted to do something positive - and so created the Future Change social…

Knowing that children with a parent in prison would miss out on having them at their school sports day, the Family Contact Team within HMP Edinburgh decided to organise their own! 73 children enjoyed a range of games, creating some truly memorable moments with their dads.
