The best part about marathon training is all the extra food you get to eat. The second best part is how it normalizes exercising for 1-2 hours every day. This is the way.
When the training plan calls for 15 miles and there's no end in sight for the rain. Good.

The election is over. And I gotta say. It's nice to run through the neighborhood without being bombarded by political signs.
I will keep running if Trump wins. I will keep running if Kamala wins.
The best running warm-up is the one that gets you running most consistently. Stretch or no stretch. Foam rolling. Easing into the run (my choice) Fine what works best for you and stick with it.
I finally caved. Asics Superblast 2 Supportive, light and fast. After a few weeks of breaking 'em in, these are easily my favorite daily trainer right now.

Was gifted a box of Honey Stingers yesterday. Had 3 of them on my long run this morning. Now feeling like death. What gives?

They forgot to unlock some of the porta potties along the half marathon course yesterday. Crappy situation.
Not quite a PR time but a PR effort. Easily the strongest I've felt at the end of a race. 9 weeks until Dallas Marathon.



Prairie Fire Half Marathon tomorrow morning. Excited to see where the fitness is at!
