Why do people say Dream isn't gothic anymore just because he wears white, as if white goth didn't exist?

Bruh... It turns out that so many people don't really understand the nuances of comics, characters, and themes. And everything is reduced to black or white. As if Dream is the most selfish character and his story shouldn't have ended the way it did. #TheSandman
people don't understand monster horror romance anymore... they don't understand obsessed monster love... they're anti monster... what happened to all the monster fuckers... we used to be a society...

Allan Heinberg for @NetflixTudum: “Dream allows himself to be taken rather than continue to inflict pain on those he cares for. It’s all one story: Dream learns to love and to be loved, and what love really means. In doing so, he has to die and essentially be reborn in Daniel”
Tom Sturridge on Dream’s final scene (via @NetflixTudum): “You’ve seen, after the death of his son, the height of his emotions. His own demise could elicit something similar. I think… he was so excited for a rest and was so at peace with finally just being able to sleep.”
#MORPHEUS: morpheus is one of the best fantasy characters to ever exist and i will die on this hill. —#dreamoftheendless #thesandman
Dream introducing Goldie to Delirium brings me comfort, it’s such a cute scene ❤️🔥
Why does no one talk about that scene with Shakespear and Morpheus? Its his ''last'' scene and its so depressing, oh my poor baby :(((( #TheSandman
This scene was so beautiful. Dream insisted so much on the fact the punishment he gave Alex was not even enough compared to what his imprisonment caused, but no matter that he understood he needed to forgive him and free him eventually #TheSandman
Tom Sturridge on the lessons Dream learns (via @NetflixTudum): “I think it’s beautiful, the journey of discovery that he goes on, and the insane variety of creatures who educate him — Destruction… his sister Delirium [and] his entire family, his relationship with Nuala.”
That Interview with the Vampire novel had Talamasca written all over it. Eric Bogosian will return as Daniel Molloy in #TALAMASCA: The Secret Order. #SDCC2025
New stills of Season 3 from #SDCC25!!
My second favourite scene. She wanted him to get better with her whole being. Despair defining hope. Trying to help him see a way out while telling him it’s ok to be in her realm for as long as he needs to. She won’t leave him. She won’t make him leave, yet hopes he does. 💔
“people need a place to go where they can be miserable. and grieve. and hit bottom. before they swim up for air and start breathing again”
