The heart of Odesa—Privoz Market—lies in ruins after another brutal Russian strike. Moldovans know its voices, its smells, its spirit. We mourn with Ukraine and condemn yet another barbaric act of terror against civilians.

When I travel, I try to meet with our Moldovan community. In Italy this weekend, I saw how they strengthen our bilateral ties. Grateful to President Mattarella @Quirinale, PM @GiorgiaMeloni and local authorities for their care and support to Moldovans.

A brutal night in Ukraine. Russia bombed Lviv, Lutsk, and Chernivtsi — where civilians were killed. This is daily terror. Homes reduced to rubble. Ukraine urgently needs more air defenses. More support. Every delay costs lives.

A pleasure to meet @_FriedrichMerz on the sidelines of the Ukraine Recovery Conference. We discussed the strong Moldova–Germany partnership, our ongoing efforts to improve the lives of Moldovans, and our firm determination to join the European Union.

Grazie mille, @GiorgiaMeloni, for Italy’s steadfast support to Ukraine, Moldova, and the Moldovan community in Italy. Your commitment strengthens our ties and brings us closer to a united and peaceful Europe.

It takes courage to resist. It also takes courage to plan for a future of peace and prosperity — even while the war still rages.  Ukraine is doing both — and today at the Ukraine Recovery Conference, I reaffirmed that Moldova stands with Ukraine every step of the way.

Italy and Moldova continue to deepen bilateral relations, building on the close people-to-people ties developed over the past decades. I’m grateful to President Mattarella @Quirinale — a true friend to Moldovans in Italy and a steadfast supporter of Moldova’s European future.

In Warsaw, I had the honour of meeting Adam Michnik, the founder of @gazeta_wyborcza and a symbol of courage, truth, and democratic resistance. His life’s work continues to inspire all of us who fight for freedom.  Thank you for the exchange and your unwavering voice.

Honoured to address the Polish Ambassadors’ Conference at the invitation of @sikorskiradek. I spoke about how hybrid threats cross borders — and so must our response. As Moldova advances on its EU path, we already act, think, and contribute like a member. That, too, is security.

Always a pleasure to meet Prime Minister @donaldtusk — a steadfast friend of Moldova. We discussed deepening our partnership, strengthening economic ties, advancing Moldova’s EU path, and supporting Ukraine. In challenging times, unity remains our greatest strength.

Grateful to be hosted in Warsaw today by @AndrzejDuda. Thank you for your steadfast support and friendship during your tenure. Moldova is proud to stand with Poland — united in our commitment to a stronger, safer Europe.

Kyiv was hit again by Russian missiles. Ukraine is fighting for freedom and peace—for all of us. But against an empire of evil, it stands alone far too often. It needs more air defense, stronger support. Supporting Ukraine means protecting peace in Europe and beyond.
