Signings look great. Really excited about Banks and Grey. We have quality options all over the pitch and it’s hard to point out a specific weakness. Two things we struggled with last year were being pressed high and being countered - hoping we have addressed these issues 🤞

First 10 games are massive, if we are top then we will be in a great position. Fear is we stumble are stuck in mid table and Hinch leaves taking players with him.

Fear/Hope: That we piss this tinpot league and have the title wrapped up by Christmas. Making the rest of the season boring But, in all seriousness, a slow start is the worry. With the hype of last year and transfer activity, there's now an expectation and our fans can be fickle

Hopes: Lewis Richardson signs🤭, LJL doesn't get a hat trick for Boston, we piss this tinpot league. Fears: We spend another season down here after this one. Any of our galacticos gets a long term injury. Banks & Stones kill someone.

Hopes: Experience the highs of last season which was remarkable, memorable and in the end disappointing but just incredible following 2 seasons of mediocrity. Fears: Club to beat💰players don’t gel and for whatever season and we end up not promoted and cue social media meltdown

Hope: League Winners (invincible) Fears: Finishing 2nd Hopes and Fears: Decent Keane album

We will finish 4th if dont win it with 110+pts. One or the other for me, prefer the first obviously😹😸

Hopes: Same Old City start to post weekly again… Fears: Ben Robinson makes another guess appearance on the podcast

Fear: after a summer of good recruitment we do the 'All we have to do is just show up, and we'll piss it' routine, like we did against Oldham.

Hopes: we blow the league away with a successful plan A & plan B. Fears: we become everyone’s cup final and they all seem to find an extra 10% above their usual quality, so every game home & away becomes a physical battle.

Hopes: the guys behind me don’t start shouting “GET IT FORWARD” from the 2nd minute every match. Fears: the guys behind me will start shouting “GET IT FORWARD” from the 1st minute vs Sutton

Fears - the level of expectation from many after what was an incredible season. 96 points takes some beating. There will be bumps in the road over the season. Hopes - that the addition of more physical, proven winners can get us back to the League

Hopes: Just having the same exciting performances. Was nice to have a nearly worry-free time last season Fears: There’s pressure before we’ve even kicked a ball. Can we have the same “care-free” attractive performances without the promotion pressure looming over us? #YCFC

Hope is we go to another level and win the league with the experience and physicality added. Fear is that teams now know we’re dangerous and will make it very difficult for us. The long away trips to start the season need to go well as we don’t want to be chasing from early
