A wise female friend said to me this morning that every woman knows someone who has been raped. Yet somehow no man knows a rapist. We’ve got a long way to go.
EM was torn apart for days on the stand in an attempt to discredit her while only one of the alleged perpetrators had to testify. No woman would go through that if it didn’t happen. Women now are going to be even less likely to report. Shameful decision.

the judge going above and beyond to continue victim blaming E.M is disgusting
a woman has to give perfect, consistent details of the most traumatic moment of her life with no room for error and even then it usually still isn’t enough. while men can lie through their teeth and change their story multiple times over and still be believed over the victim.
