My already poor one-and-done record has stooped to new lows with the selection of Michael Thorbjornsen this week.
Without wanting to state the obvious, what a prospect Lottie Woad is. Already has an LET win and a major top-3 to her name as an amateur, now leading in her first pro start. Superstar potential.

I have to be honest, I would have loved today to have been more of a close-run thing, but sometimes you have to just acknowledge greatness. What a golfer Scheffler is.
Rose could quite feasibly be -4 thru 3 here. Missed a 5-footer for birdie on the 1st, eagle putt shaved the hole on the 2nd…shows what’s possible for the chasing pack to put Scottie under some kind of pressure.
If you missed the cut at the Open, it doesn’t matter how many by, or what you shot. Ruthless stuff.
