Finally finished my 1/72 Ace models Stalwart Limber for #jffcoldwar. It did test me but pleased with the end result

Finished my 1/144 Tempest and V1 for #jffbooks. I nice little kit but the heat affected the paint/varnish a bit , drying too fast and not spraying well. Hope you like it Quick piccies from the iPhone too hot to get a sensible camera set up.

#jffbooks. More progress on my 1/144 tempest and V1, needs some touchups but happy with it so far

#jffcoldwar. Calling my 1/72 Airfix Lim 5(Mig 17) done. A nice kit that falls together and was a fun build

Progress on my #jffbooks and #jffcoldwar builds. The airfix lim5 is close to the finish line. The Ace Stalwart is coming along (by my estimate there’s about 90 parts added so far 🤣) and the tiny tempest and v1 going together well. Haven’t started the Gecko Daimler yet but…

I’ve had a bit of a rummage through the stash and come up the these 4 as next builds 2 for #jffbooks, the Daimler and tiny Tempest and the Stolie and Lim (mig17) fit #jffcoldwar. Going to flit between kits as nothing the Daimler will try my patience. There ar 13 parts for the…

Happy Sunday everyone, the weather has cleared SE England and the sun is out. Sitting outside having a coffee this morning, a visitor turned up. Not the first time we’ve seen it but it seems to like our garden in the morning. Not sure our cat approves one bit though

#jffcoldwar. Finished my Ace FV4005. A challenging kit, well detailed but overly complicated, flashy moulding poor fit and part location. Looks ok finished though

Calling my 1/35 Churchill Crocodile finished #jffbook. An old kit but a good one really enjoyed this build, 2 crew to add but that will be slow time

More progress with my Ace Models FV4005 #jffcoldwar. Not sure about the clout yet and the kit is definitely a challenge, nearly threw it in the bin a few times.

Happy Saturday everyone. Managed to just about complete my Tamiya crocodile. Just need to muddy it up a bit and then it’s done #jffbooks

Finally got round to starting a entry for #jffbooks and #jffcoldwar with a Tamiya Crocodile and a 1/72 FV4005

Slow but steady progress on the Stratos. All engine and suspension done starting in the cockpit but infuriatingly the ribbon for the seat harnesses is too wide to go through the etched buckles 🤬. I have a plan though 🤔

More progress with the Stratos, engine now complete, some imaginative wiring put in as well as a throttle linkage which is now almost invisible 🤣it looks busy in the engine bay now and more to add

Slow progress with the Italeri 1:12 Stratos. Defiantly not a shake and Bake kit, some parts look more appropriate on a 1:24 scale kit, particularly the fire extinguishers, also a distinct lack of wiring/hoses in the nose of the car, been busy faffing and adding things to make it…

Inspired by the superb GT40 build by Rich @Shadow40481222 this is next on the bench Italeri’s 1/12 Stratos, it looks decent but there’s a lack of paint references and some of the details look more at home on a 1/24 scale kit. Still a challenge is a challenge let’s see how it…

Finished the seascape for my Severn class lifeboat, #jffatsea #jffmovies calling it done now. I have to admit to being quite pleased with the results and big credit to Scale-a-ton@Scaleaton on YouTube for the techniques
