My approach to building hardware startups: 1) try not to build a hardware startup 2) use off the shelf hardware to test business idea 3) discover gaps in existing hardware 4) build v1 system largely with off the shelf modules 5) identify modules to custom design 6) embark on…
Update: We are now moving to step 4. Love and hate this.

I see 100x more ETH bullposts than solana bullposts. Occasionally you will see a $1000 SOL post, but it’s more common when there is a new analyst report. ETH has been a terrible asset for 3+ yrs, and dude is like “don’t worry, it’s coiling like a spring and going to $15K”
I'm afraid my co-host @TrustlessState's end of year call of $7k ETH is not bullish enough. But I think it's also representative of ETH ptsd we all have - it's hard to remember what an ETH pump feels like. So $7k feels bullish. I'm not saying David is wrong btw - maybe he's…
They are so close to getting it. “If you are a founder, you don’t need a co-founder”.
If you are a technical founder, you do not need a non-technical cofounder.
Gamified Social will be the next new source of demand for Solana blockspace. @SolanaStakeHaus will be launching an experiment soon. Respond here or DM if you would like an early look.
Minimum one year in prison if you don’t pick up dog shit. And your dog is put to sleep.
Great to see JUMP hardware still leading the industry 5 years later.
It was great meeting JUMP's co-founder @ryrzny in Paris and having a long conversation about the industry and JUMP's story Also got to try a few @limebike bikes (updated versions of the JUMP bikes) and check out the new battery swap system while exploring the city!
If zohran does attempt this foolishness, it will at least produce some funny memes
Despite a recent $750k taxpayer subsidy, the shelves at Kansas City's government-run grocery store are "almost bare." It also lost $885k last year and is, unsurprisingly, hemorrhaging customers.
Something is coming that will change Solana forever. Block building and value creation reimagined. More transparent, efficient, and aligned. Users win. Solana evolves. The future arrives 🔜
Exciting vision to integrate residential neighborhoods and advanced manufacturing in Northern California.
4/ We also can’t win by building factories off of random freeway exits in the middle of nowhere. The best people don’t want to work there. To actually re-industrialize, we need industrial ecosystems, where R&D, production, and training are located within amazing places to live.
1/ It's time to bring back "designed in California, made in California.” Today, at @reindsummit, @ashleevance and I introduced Solano Foundry, the largest advanced manufacturing park in America, an hour north of Silicon Valley. Built by @CAForever with @JLL. 🧵
Traveling with your preferred pillow sounds crazy, but is totally worth it. Too much variance in pillows and many are super uncomfortable.
PSA: If you are an American traveling internationally, do not use your carrier’s data roaming. Just heard of a friend being charged $18/day by Verizon. Buy an eSIM with Nomad or Airalo. You get 10 gb good for 30 days for $10-20.
ILRB I guess? the top five slowest solana validators, that intentionally delaying their blocktimes, stealing rewards from the next leaders and slowing down the entire chain nearly 1 second of average block times at its worst @anza_xyz please fix this. it’s getting out of hands
Revisiting this 2 years later. AV rollout has been slow, but incredible for the cities that have it. By 2030 most major cities in the US should have AV fleets. I’m skeptical of the Tesla distributed model, but that would help extend to lower density areas.
We have two companies operating fully autonomous ridehail networks in a major city, and there has been almost no media coverage and a collective yawn. The average American isn’t even aware that this is a reality. Perhaps it was over hyped in 2017, but opposite is true now.
Pretty crazy we are going to automate and replace MBA consultants before dishwashers and linecooks.
the goal of life is to be excited to go to work and excited to go home
Oh great, the Milky Way is a low density suburb
A team of astronomers presented a theory suggesting that Earth and our entire galaxy, the Milky Way, may be located within a vast cosmic void, a region of the universe less dense than its surroundings, which could explain why the universe appears to be expanding faster in our…
