We shouldnt make it easy for the state to get their hands on us. We should rethink calling ppl down to a hot spot of repression where ppl are getting arrested daily. These ppl focused on “peaceful protest” & “nonviolence” do not have a plan to protect you from violence or arrest

It’s always disturbing to see videos of anti-ICE protesters being brutalized by police online however one encouraging thing I have noticed is that in many of the comments under these videos people are rejecting calls for peaceful protest and are encouraging active resistance.

The reason people continue to participate in worthless forms of protests against the state isn’t because they’re okay w/ doing things that don’t work but because they aren’t actually trying to resist the state at all. They’re performing resistance to satisfy a guilty conscience.
