On this day in 1985, our Ruthie died at her home in Edgartown, with her husband at her side. Even on that day, she worked on a play and went for a walk as usually. When she was asked what would people say about her in 50 years, she answered: "I guess they'll say I was great." ❤
On this day in 1985 we lost our beloved Ruthie. She passed away following a stroke at her home in Edgartown, Massachusetts with her husband, Garson Kanin at her side. We love and miss you angel.♡ This is the last known picture of her, taken just a week before her death.
