'Collateral Innocence' is what gets caught in the crossfire kids in wars they didn’t start. trust crushed by systems built to ignore. the last soft part of you burned by someone else’s chaos. not destroyed on purpose, just left behind.
“Nothing to see here” is how the worst things hide. curiosity doesn’t ask if you’re ready, it just pulls you closer. and by the time you realize some holes don’t want to be looked into, it’s already looking back.
The worst thing you can do to your art is not share it with the world. If you’re not sharing it, what are you really protecting? Your ego? Perfection? Post the damn thing. Let it start a fire or flop, either way, at least it’s alive.
