'전투순양함'과 '드레드노트형 전함'의 첫 창시자로 유명한 영국의 제1해군경 피셔 경이 105년 전 1920년 오늘 사망하였습니다. 해전사에 전혀 관심 없는 현대 대부분 일반인들도 그의 작품들 중 하나를 잘 알텐데 놀랍게도 그는 OMG, '오 마이 갓'이란 단어를 처음 발명한 사람입니다. (1917년)
#OnThisDay 1920 Admiral of the Fleet Lord Fisher died aged 79. He joined @RoyalNavy in 1854 & over his stellar career was famous as an innovator. He revised tactics, introduced the Battleship and created the phrase OMG. He left after his second spell as First Sea Lord in 1915.
