the lack of gl/yuri media consumers is literally the byproduct of this societyโs hatred of women but people donโt like it when others point this out bc it means realizing that they too have issues of misogyny to work out, internalized or not
i genuinely believe everyone, not only sapphics, have a lot to unpack about how they feel towards yuri. like genuinely take time to think about it and question their existing biases bc most of what i see revolves around prejudice, lack of knowledge about gl and patriarchy
conservative women are not my allies but i do find it interesting how every time one of them says something repulsive here comes a leftist man to take advantage of the situation so he can be violent to a woman in a way that is more "socially acceptable" in his environment
