College is essentially a walkable city with good infrastructure, full of civilians working toward self-betterment. There's still a respect for expertise and facts, as well as community and forgiveness. Leaving that is tough.
I think college ruined my perception of community in real adult world because the way i yearn for something that kind of only exist when you live on campus..
funny that outlets are reporting on the "hostile alien threat" since the researchers outright state in the introduction that the paper is basically written for fun lmao

But the art programs were not fair. They did not teach you how to monetize. The only route was academia. But I was not strong at writing about art. So i had to get creative because i was literally poor. I remember following her on IG when I graduated and she blocked me. I cried
Junior year of college, I was my oil painting teacher’s fave student. One day she gave me this whole rant about how she hates artists that commercialize. My first art product was that year and film crews came into the class twice to do a documentary. She never met my eye again

Her standing firm on this piece being included in the show says so much about the woman she is. This moment speaks volumes on having integrity in a time where people clearly don’t and taking a stand against erasure and bigotry. One of one.
So happy to share that I’ve been accepted into the BFA in Fine arts Painting at Concordia University. As you may know i’m self-taught, started my career before studying, I didn’t take the usual path, but that’s the beauty of it. Excited for this new chapter

The only positive is that I got to see a reminder of how far I have come. I really did it and became a full time artist. So many times I wanted to quit especially when my school’s fees ceased when switching to art. Had to take two day jobs in school and became a night CNA
Don’t forget to look around and appreciate all the things going right in your life.
Nobody hates u more than someone who’s faking something you naturally embody.
