A female hare keeping a low profile as a male approaches.

Fabulous time at the moment to watch the local hares in Somerset. The females are receptive for mating and the young Hares don't have a care in the world. So hares literally cleaning, running, walking, eating and pausing, all so close. 馃榾

Something slightly different now...... A Common Green Shieldbug emerging from the yellow petals of a Sunflower this morning. 馃榾

Sudden change of direction with the hares chasing each other around the stubble fields this morning.

Two hares this morning in the stubble field. Not easy to stay hidden but it can be done if they fill the need.

Really please to have found a Brown Hare in this stubble field this evening. 馃榾
