The unfiltered thoughts of media veteran Robin Lundberg!
Every metric and the eye test says the Fever are championship contenders when healthy. It all comes down to Caitlin Clark’s status.
Having a top 3 offense with “No depth” and their starting point guard being missing games is impressive
They only have 11 players. There’s no need to drop anyone. Not saying Turner has done anything but this obsession over essentially a vet minimum deal is odd. Every team has bench warmers.
They could have dropped Bri
The Katie Lou Samuelson contract is what has hamstrung the Fever.
Not wasting cap on Bri turner will do that
Caitlin Clark knows social media is not real life
caitlin clark: “social media is a false perception of reality—it’s not the real world—when i show up to arenas that reminds me of how many people are really there supporting and loving [me], those aren’t the people in social media caring about every decision or comment you make.”

Imagine not considering the new media rights deal $ hasn’t hit yet and the explosion of franchise value.
WNBA CBA take: As always there will be posturing. Negotiations will be spun as contentious. Eventually when deadlines loom a deal will be struck. And players are certain to get a substantial raise. Most of the rest is noise.
Nice to meet you in real life!
Absolutely loved Indy. Highlights of my weekend: Got to hang out a bit with one of my favorite sports handicappers and WNBA Tier Creators (He’s definite Tier MVPHEE) @drmataya Finally got to meet the awesome voice and face of the Fever @PatBoylanPacers and his beautiful wife.…
No disrespect to Mr Diplo but I feel the exact same way as Courtney about that type of drum programming.
courtney telling diplo to to play better music 😭😭😭😭😭
By the way it was the terrible toxic crowd in Indianapolis chanting “pay them” about WNBA players.
As someone who was in Brooklyn Wednesday, in Indy now, and will be back for the game in BK Tuesday (and don’t have to play)…calling this an All-Star “break” is insane.
Sabrina Ionescu says the All-Star Game would’ve been “more competitive” if there was a longer break before the regular-season resumes. Games restart on Tuesday. Q: @madkenney
