The United States, its institutions, and its people are under attack by the president and his enablers
At this point, I could tweet “the Never Trumpers were right” every few hours, but I'll keep it to once a week so as not to be repetitive
Not only was the US citizen deported but they want to deport many others
ICE does NOT deport U.S. citizens. Here are the facts: In 1999, this man was deported because HE claimed to be a Mexican citizen without any legal status to remain in the U.S. He re-entered the U.S. at an unknown date and location. In 2004, he was placed in immigration…
Trump is making ICE into his Rosgvardia personal security force and the FCC into his Roskomnadzor censorship agency. My "Putinization of America" articles weren’t alarmist enough! Remember that autocrats take everything they can unless stopped, they don’t self-deter.
CNBC: When the FCC's Anna Gomez writes that 'you're imposing never been seen controls over newsroom decisions and editorial judgment in direct violation of the First Amendment,' you say what? FCC CHAIR BRENDAN CARR: I think it's time for a change
Exclusive: The former senior CIA officer who helped oversee the 2017 intelligence assessment on Russia’s interference in the 2016 election says DNI Tulsi Gabbard and the White House are “lying” when they claim that it was an attempt to sabotage President Trump.…
Remarkable quote from Trump's head of the FCC: "government officials allowed [broadcast media outlets] to dictate the political narrative." Yes, that's how the 1st Amendment works. Media outlets - even broadcast ones - tell their stories, and the govt does not dictate to them…
Don’t let up
Shoutout to the woman holding this sign behind Ghislaine Maxwell’s attorney, David Markus, during his press conference.

He thinks that if he says “Ghislaine said I’m not in the files,” his base will ignore the fact that there was obvious quid pro quo and move on from Epstein. He thinks they’re THAT dumb and gullible.
My brain is too pea sized to comprehend this. How does giving Ghislaine Maxwell a pardon end up working out well for Trump? Like what are the steps towards this benefiting him?
Top ruling party leader Takaichi (possible next #Japan Prime Minister) angry: PM #Ishiba says he did not plan to issue a joint US-Japan document based on the Agreement, and "as there is no document, we do not know what is really guaranteed."…
Private ICE detention contractors, CoreCivic and GEO Group, donated nearly $2.8M to Trump’s 2024 election efforts and inaugural fund. Now, Trump's budget bill is allocating $45 billion to increase ICE detention space. That's no coincidence. citizensforethics.org/reports-invest…
File this under "some of us are old enough to remember when..."
It’s mostly forgotten in all of this, but Trump was the first person to bring up Epstein at all in the context of politics to repeatedly attack Bill Clinton in 2015. He did this at CPAC and in an interview with Bloomberg at the time.
The Fed's "cost overruns" are roughly equal to the 4-year taxpayer cost of Trump's golfing trip. Or 1/10,000 of the tax cuts. They are also legitimately due to asbestos and soil contamination. If Trump really cared about big cost overruns, he'd be at the Pentagon firing Hegseth.
Jennings: He’s clearly mad about the cost overruns Phillip: You got to understand what the cost overruns are for the building. When they started renovating it, they found asbestos. They found toxic soil contamination. DHS then recommended all these security measures, which will…
I know this is precious of me, but how in the world do we process any of this as normal? How does any conservative or Christian accept, excuse, or defend it?
Trump pardoned his cop beating fans. He nominated for a judgeship his defense atty who punished those who prosecuted the cop beaters. He sent another of his defense attys, a Dem until yesterday, to meet with his former friend and federal inmate complicit in mass sexual assault.
Democracy is broken in Alabama. I’m running for US Senate to change that.
Taking Bill Clinton’s predation and abuse of power seriously all the way back when I stayed home from high school to watch his impeachment is a MAJOR REASON I was and remain Never Trump. It’s why I yelled at my own family re: selective partisan moral outrage. And I’m not alone. +
Was a pleasure to sit down with Andy; we spoke about Leaving MAGA and why many MAGA voters are likely doubting their support for Trump and the MAGA movement.

On 25 July 1939, Polish cryptologists shared the broken Enigma code with the Allies. Remember these names: Marian Rejewski, Jerzy Różycki, and Henryk Zygalski. Poland’s role in breaking Enigma shortened WWII by two years and saved millions of lives. britishpoles.uk/how-polish-cry…
Well said
Looks like @WSJ isn’t worried about Trump’s lawsuit. Since Trump was lying… for the millionth time. Trump was best friend with a pedo and child trafficker and said some things to suggest he didn’t have issues with it. This is going to get worse for him.
Emil Bove Is not a nominee to the Third Circuit for his jurisprudencial record. Or because he's a conservative. It's because he worked for a ny dem lawyer who defended a former president's criminality. And because he was willing to destroy the DOJ to serve his political masters.
Time for a change in our first amendment rights? Because that's the plan here, folks. They're aiming for state controlled media, primarily because the president of the United States is a petulant, thin-skinned man child.
