Just finished taping with Stephen Colbert who announced his show was cancelled. If Paramount and CBS ended the Late Show for political reasons, the public deserves to know. And deserves better.
Is the New Syria Unravelling? | @robertwrighter and Middle East expert @joshua_landis discuss the mounting challenges facing the new regime, what’s really behind Israel’s recent attacks, what grounds for hope remain, and more. youtu.be/PgpobVyE6fw?fe…

In some NATO countries, China is now more popular than the US, according to @pewresearch. The recent drop in America’s standing abroad coincides with Trump’s return to office.
NEW: Israel bombs Syria's Defense Ministry, Florida's AG blames Texas floods on "weather tampering," and some NATO allies now like China more than the US. More news updates in this week’s Earthling:

That birthday letter I sent to Jeffrey Dahmer saying "will always remember the delightful meals we had together"? People shouldn't read too much into that. There's an innocent explanation.
Even tho I only ever knew Milo from the background audio of a podcast, I'm sad to hear he's gone. 🧡
