It’s Museum Café Coffee Art Day today* We’re kicking it off with an onion. What you got?! #Museum #Coffee *it’s not, we made it up

From our collection, a black & white photograph taken at Wargrave & Shiplake Regatta of 'tilting' in canoes, where competitors fight with mops standing in canoes. Thought to be 1932. Does this activity still take place at the Regatta?! #Wargrave #Shiplake #History

This view 🙌🏼 Our Comminity Gallery connects the River Gallery to the Henley Gallery, with the added bonus of a glorious view of Mill Meadows and the church and bridge in the distance. #HenleyOnThames

This 'News from the River and Rowing Museum', dated November 1995, some three years ahead of our opening, is possibly one of the earliest updates we have. What are your memories of those very early days? #History #LookingBack #Museum

The Swan Uppers have just passed the Museum. Always a great sight. Thanks to Leander Club for welcoming us earlier to see them arrive for lunch.

Holidays are coming (not those, we mean the summer holidays!), and we are very excited (and a little sad) to present our last ever summer holiday activity schedule. For full info and to book, visit our website rrm.co.uk/event/summer-h… #FamilyFun #SummerHolidays #HenleyOnThames

Thank you @ianvisits for this 🙏
A decent museum in Henley, which unsurprisingly tells the history of rowing on the Thames and beyond, is closing down in September, so you have just a few weeks to pay a visit. ianvisits.co.uk/articles/henle…
Last day of @HenleyRegatta. We hope you’ve enjoyed your visit, and wish you a safe journey home. This photo shows spectators on the platform at Henley Station c.1910-1914 #HenleyRoyalRegatta #History

Day 4 of @HenleyRegatta and today we are sharing an image of the Eton crew, stood on the Leander landing stage with their oars, after winning the Ladies' Plate at Henley Royal Regatta c1940. #Rowing #History

Thank you so much for your support over the years 🇦🇺
This is really sad to hear. I live in Australia and have been to the museum 4 times on my visits to HRR. It’s a great museum and can’t believe there is support in the UK to keep this open
And it still is until 21st September! We’d love to see you all.
This is so incredibly sad - it was such a great place to go.
As one of our long-standing retail partners, we are desperately sad to hear the news from @river_rowing today. A huge loss to rowing, and the town of Henley.
We are very sad to announce that we will be closing to the public on Sunday 21st September.

Day 3 of @HenleyRegatta and from our collection today, a photograph of the Royal visit to the Regatta in 1912, by HRH Queen Mary, seen here passing Phyllis Court. #HenleyRoyalRegatta #History #Rowing
