2019 was not a feel-good year for me. despite the COUNTLESS blessings that rained down on me, this year was filled with growing pains, uncomfortable tests, dead-ends, my own broken promises, & more tears than i’ve ever shed. i’m convinced 2020 is the year i reap what i sow.
in 2019, i learned to believe God when He showed me who i am (in all my beauty, power & grace). 2020 i’ll learn to walk in it.
i interviewed over 30 high school kids in Dearborn over the past month. not 1 of them could give an ex. of POSITIVE mainstream media representation of Arabs/Muslims. we live in an enclave where we feel affirmed, but i don't think we realize how much this hatred impacts us truly
