The Parable of the Ten Virgins may be the most misunderstood marriage passage in the NT. Understanding it opens our eyes to the recurring theme in Scripture: God is plurally married. Likewise, He calls some of His servants to #polygyny as well.

1 Cor 7:2 permits polygyny and welcomes plural converts. The Greek word “heautou” (G1438) implies exclusive ownership, such as owning one’s own body (“heautou” is used in Mark 5:30). In contrast, “idios” (G2398) implies communal ownership, such as co-owning a city (eg Matt 9:1)
“Truly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or wife or brothers or parents or children, for the sake of the kingdom of God, who will not receive many times more in this time...” (Luke 18:29-30) Jesus can multiply everything listed except “wife?” See 2 Sam 12:7-8.
Nuremberg Principle IV “The fact that a person acted pursuant to order of his Government or of a superior does not relieve him from responsibility… provided a moral choice was in fact possible to him.” “all the nations were deceived by your PHARMAKEIA” (Rev 18:23)
Our findings show that hospitals allowed the organ procurement process to begin when patients showed signs of life, and this is horrifying. The organ procurement organizations that coordinate access to transplants will be held accountable. The entire system must be fixed to…
Nuremberg Principles. The bodily harm followed by intentional coverup is a crime against humanity. “… because all the nations were deceived by your PHARMAKEIA” (Rev 18:23).
So now it’s official—the CDC had evidence of a 1135% increased risk of autism from the hepatitis B shot… and they covered it up. Not a mistake. Not a misprint. A cover-up. RFK Jr. is simply saying out loud what many of us have known (and been attacked for saying) for decades.…
Churches inherited the practice from synagogues as that’s where early converts first attended (Acts 15:21, Acts 18:4). Paul reaffirms & mandated the practice in 1 Corinthians 11:1-16. Feminism then took root in the Church as a sign of the Last Days (Isaiah 3). Isaiah 4 is otw.
For nearly 1900 years, Christian women wore head coverings. Then, in the 20th century, they stopped. What changed? Did we just get better at theology?
She’s pleasing in God’s sight because of her confidence in God’s promises (Luke 1:37-38, Heb 11:6), not her moral record (Rom 3:22-23, Isa 64:6). the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is NO distinction: — Romans 3:22
Mary is the holiest woman ever. Protestants and Catholics can agree on this at least, Right?
Matthew 13:55 says, “Is not this the carpenter’s son? Is not his mother called Mary? And are not his brothers James and Joseph and Simon and Judas?” But if you think the Scripture is taken out of context, early church father, Eusebius, in his his Ecclesiastical History (Book II,…
Whoever denies the Son does NOT have the Father; the one who confesses the Son has the Father also. — 1 John 2:23 A Jew wrote this. Is he correct or are you?
It has become quite evident that the present-day family of Believers–including clergy–are tremendously under-equipped to answer the following important question: “What commandments are we to obey as Disciples of Christ?” richtidwell.com/the-order-of-m…

There’s an unseen war on “be fruitful and multiply” (Gen 1:28)—the first written commandment in the Bible. Abortion Divorce and Remarriage Forbidding Lawful Unions “get married, bear children” (1 Tim 5:14) is the Way. “What was the one God seeking? Godly offspring.” (Mal 2:15)
People who have kids do need to have 3 kids to make up for those who have 0 or 1 kid or population will collapse
“The end of the matter… Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man.” (Ecc 12:13) “For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments. & his commandments are not burdensome.” (1 John 5:3) Where’s the “keep His commandments” part @reformedhg?
Q: What is the purpose of life? A: To glorify God and to enjoy Him forever.
“And the congregation of those who believed were of one heart and soul; and not one of them claimed that anything belonging to him was his own, but all things were common property to them.” — Acts 4:32 Living communally works.
🚨#BREAKING: Astonishing drone footage has emerged of 150 Amish men in New York carrying a barn hundreds of feet. The entire move took less than 5 minutes and no heavy machinery was used at all. Absolutely incredible!!!
As the world’s highest IQ record holder, I believe that Jesus Christ is God, the way and the truth and the life.
Sabbath keeper here. What priesthood is Yeshua the High Priest? Aaron or Melchizedek? Secondly, what Covenant are we under? What separates the Old from New? “For when there is a change in the priesthood, there is necessarily a change in the law as well.” — Hebrews 7:12
Precisely. We need more intellectual honesty among Believers. Solomon marries his 61st wife and the other wives celebrate her (Songs 6:8-10). Today we call this “Adultery” without a single prohibition in Scripture. “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil…” (Isa 5:20)
I was shocked as a life-long conservative evangelical when I actually studied polygyny. Not 1 verse against it, never called a sin, never even frowned at. Shock!-Song of Solomon is an entire book devoted to Solomon's 61st wife. A whole book of the bible celebrating adultery???
"In 2019 I discovered the surprising fact that God not only never prohibited polygyny throughout the entire Biblical narrative (as He did with polyandry or homosexuality), He divinely ordained it in several cases including David (2 Sam 12:7-8), Jacob (Gen 30:18), and Joash (2…
