Watching Braves vs Red Sox & tv booth is talking to Freeman as he's hitting & playing 1st. MLB trying to make gm more personal but chirping in a guys ear while hitting or playing in field can take his total attention away from what he's doing and may lead to potential injury. IMO

You scratch your head sometimes when pitchers over match a hitter with a certain pitch then go to another pitch. O's Kline throws fastball by Devers who had no chance, then throws back to back off speed pitches & gives up hard hit base clearing 2B. Hitters tell you what to throw
Heard announcer say Bluejay pitcher didn't want to pitch to a hot Santander with man on and up 5-2 with 2 outs in 9th vs O's. Are you serious, last thing you want to do is walk him & bring tying run to plate. Pitching around him then is not done or recommended. (Crazy comment)
Runner at 2nd & 3rd, no outs, & runner at 3rd going on contact on ball hit to 3rd baseman is not a good move. I would think that was a mistake by Sisco, I hope.

Congratulations to the Wash. Nationals on great season & trip to WS. Its been quite a season for them. Written off early in yr, they bouced back with several players making key contributions. Shows how important starting pitching is still today & its positive effect or bullpen.
I met Jerry Phillips at my buddy's (Fred Edmiaston) home in Memphis saturday night. Jerry is Sam Phillips son from Sun Records. Sam basically discovered Elvis. He shared some stories & entertained us with a few songs. Great time
Fortunately, for me, I am still alive and kicking and worth 4200 points. Point value more than doubled with my death.
O's Mancini gets 1B to start bottom of 7th down 2-1, moves to 2B on WP. Severino has chance to move runner to 3B with no outs, gets pitches to do it, & K's on pitch away. Nunez gets F-9 that would of been SF to tie game at 2's. Those small mistakes in close games cost wins.
O's game was very sloppy. Alot of mistakes. Basically, several of these players have played from 5 to 9 yrs in minor leagues & a couple yrs in ML. They should be better fundamentally. Some being overexposed & showing why they are mostly extras. Just honest. It is what it is.

O's acquire Broxton. CF-LF who can save you runs with his defensive abilities. Accurate arm with Ab/arm. Mostly line drive type with some power. Good speed and will bunt for 1B. Good instints on bases. RH Shepherd 90-89 90 CB-S, strikes in past. Has struggled this yr. Long man
Plain and simple. O's have several backup type players getting opportunity to play on regular basis & are showing why they are backup types. Some usable players, just not everyday. Pitching is a problem. Location-changing speeds-pitching in-being aggressive-getting ahead all poor
